Yay, i feel like blogging again. Although my life is boring, (not homework, still homework) i still wish that ppl would look at this blog :D

OK. Last friday : happy ! won yishun sec 4 games to 1 sial. zai. I won 21-19, 21-18 against their captain, very very proud of myself. life is still very very boring be cause of the ss homework and a maths and the upcoming tests! And PE SUCKED LOTS. do wad useless work out. WTF?

Saturday: practically did'nt touch on my homework. Was using the computer frm 9 am to 6 pm? with intervals of course, but very pro sia. im shocked at such a pace, my eyesight nvr worsen. still remains at 100 degrees. :/ went to play badminton with my cousins and uncles. frm 6-9. urgh i feel like an epic failure. 4 games only win 1. they keep aiming my backhand though. muz work on them.

sunday: which is today, of course. rather dead so far. juz finished my ss homework. reminds me of the test next week.....

Monday: dunno if got test anot :/

Erm, first thing, i would like to say, THANK GOD? i got into 3H and i got geog as my elective, dats so cool. Some people were not as fortunate as me. Wish them good luck in appealing! btw, 2D pawned 2H. 13 ppl going 3H are from 2D while only 12 going to 3H comes from 2H. sweet victory.

Secondly, im suffering from the pain of my injury days back and cough! it was a mere sore throat, and it turned into a cough after juz one day, im sick. Grr, BBQ tmr at my family de chalet, im gonna miss it? was a faithful day today....but..

Went out for school at around 2pm.

Went for cca and after that marathon training. After training, we went for Bball. First game was okay, lost 11-9 bcoz chairat damn tall and pro.

Second game was ....

erm started off well, but, after a few mins, *bang* me and jovan collide. my lens broke, we started to bleed. he actually 'ate' some of the broken glass pieces, i wonder if he is okay now. for me, the glass pieces went around my eyes. im surprised it didnt hit my eyes, im so lucky. i tell u, its disgusting. jzu came back from doctor's. i wonder if im okay tmr, if im still bleeding, means there is broken glass pieces inside. doctor said there is no broken glass piece inside, but i dun believe. hope i recover asap. urgh, hope jovan is okay too =)

was planning to post ytd, but was too tired.
Went to school early in the morning at 8.30 for CCA. After that, at around 11.30, went basketball-ing. yay, i finally mastered layout...

Went home for a short break. Went back to school again later on for marathon training.

WA, need to run 6.5km leh.... rn until my whole body cramp today -.- think i have good stamina? out of around 10 ppl there, i rank only 5.... sad right=(

den went home to play dota with jinhan and gang. ZZZ, not very successful sia, they keep leaving, play with jinn alone better =D.

Best in chinese i must say, she is an indian and yet she could take higher chinese, when i first entered this class i thought she entered a wrong class or something, since i heard this is a higher chinese class and im seeing an indian.. Anw, her maths is really awesome as she can finish the paper at a fast rate with no careless mistakes at all(unlike me, careless 一大堆)Highly approachable, She can really cheer people up although she dun cheer me up. HAHA.

#2 Natalie
we sat quite close for 2 years, she was sitting beside me in year 1 and this year a little in front. Erm, wad should i say leh, when i first met her my first impression was "wa, from nanyang de, no play play..." Until now, she is still very good in her studies. haha, sometimes(when im lucky) , i may see her walking with 1 tall guy,about twice her height. Jiasheng, is that right? 1 more thing, grow taller! haha!

Was once a very strong opponent in acadamics, Even kai jun had a hard time catching her let alone me. Had been closer to her last year, this year there were little interaction between me and her except: "Joanna, lend me hole puncher." " Joanna, lend me foolscap." "Joanna, lend me....etcetc" get it? She has been closer to sarah this year and the 2H prefects. Jiayou next year!

He won't mind even if i say a whole chunk of bad things about him. HAHA. im gonna start. He is a strong and good friend, very dependable. Whenever u say something bad about him, he would run to u and give u a punch. PAIN LEH. Lucky this is the intenet and the only thing he can punch is his computer screen. Had a rumoured affair with Liyi, i must say, this lasted very long? still going on.. Anw, he can be very idiotic during examinations, when he would say until all his examinations are gonna fail and yet end up with an A1. Well known 'regular customer' of 2D, in every examination, he would strive hard to squeeze that 1 or 2 mark from the teacher. Lastly, he is flirtatious :P *nehneh, cant whack me ;DDDD* OK, i should move on. LOL.

Girls should not join drum, but she did. Was a SUPER QUIET girl in sec 1, STILL VERY QUIET in sec 2.. Once in a while, she would be caught walking with ____ (not kai lin, she walks with her everyday -.-) Anw, her best friend is kai lin right? I think she is friendly, but she damn super duper shy.

Erm, i was the same height as her in sec 1..:P (shows i have grown) She sat very close to me in sec 1, and very far frm me in sec 2. Often seen walking with kaijun ( oops..)She was very good in her studies in sec 1, and even better in sec 2 -.-.. Had rumours about wad 8 husbands(pro). heard dat she is going to 3H, My potential classmate! Always get teased for being elephant and short. EVEN MR NAG DOES IT. LOL. hope to look up on u next year~~

Always spells her name wrongly, hope i did not spell wrongly for this dedication :O. She is better in cooking and arts area. i think she is aiming 3G. erm, i dun usually talk to her, but she is the one hu told me to start plurk. LOL. Jia you.

She sat behind me this year. Hot tempered o.o.. Can also be highly emotional. She is artistically inclined, where she excels in art. she can do many things dat i cannot do. EXAMPLE: the crane making project, she taught me how to fold, but it took me a long while to digest. She finished 10, and i only finished 1.. Thats y she is our class deco rap. dun worry, u can do it for ur maths! juz clear ur doubts mroe often.. She dun really ask me maths qns although im sitting right in front of her and she is weak in it. shy eh?

He is acadamically pro and smart looking. He can turn as red as an apple whenever he is shy, dat gives him his name, apple! Had rumours with SOME girls in our class, but it seems he liked someone else from another class instead. HAHA, he can be a real joker a times, had been more daring in sec 2. often see with ryan and yian, going to 3H or 3G ar, we got chance to be potental classmates too.

#10 ziyue
While people work/ play/ study/ go online for 17 hours, she SLEEPS for 17 hours. how amazing. Erm, i think we were closer this year , As she sat right in front of me this year. Have a habit of sleeping in class, and yet Ace her studies (except for maths).. HAHA. She may look quiet, but she can really talk. Looks diligent, but she can be very blurr. Usually do the sleep-eat-sleep basis at home(pig) and updates her blog frequently. She seems to be going to 3G, jia you! hongyi and ziyue are always kind to each other :P

#11 Wen wen
She is 2 years older than us, so i think i treat her as a sister? Can be very random at times, i have encountered it(ask weekiat for more details). She can also be fierce, im very proud of her to give the sec 1 guy a slap on his face, since he deserved it. Admired by ____ hehe...

erm, i think she is actually a kind girl? we juz did'nt pay enough attention to her thats all. Likes SMS-ing in class, dats y her HP always get confiscated. jing yu, i think u better change ur habit of SMS-ing in class next year! Ohya, she can be very random and funny at times. Example: giving off a 'beep' sound for no reason in the middle of the class to keep us awake? LOL. jia you, jing yu.

She was very tall last year, but since ppl grew taller, she is not that tall anymore. She is sporty and good in studies. She even became sports girl back at sports day. pro right. Oh ya, she oso very BHB, because she is willing to go down and take the sweet for me (actually i oso very BHB to ask her go down and take LOL)when we were at the LT for maths bridging programme. i think she going 3G, althought she is smart, she dun wanna be too stressed up.

HEY monica, i think we almost same height liao! HAHAAHAHAAHAH, anw, monica is a kind and friendly girl. Oh, this guy, he is a fantasist, he is so extraordinary, and a very close friend of mine(too close to describe)He scores the same marks as me during exams, and is as black as me. He is as skinny as me too. He loves me, and i love him. we are gays. i heard he is going to 3H with me, how cool! LOL, he is one of a kind. PS: i am zibi-ing.

In my opinion, sean is the most enthu student in our class, who laughs like a child, so innocent, and cheerful. His jokes are 90% lame and 10% funny, But whenever he laughs, i would also follow because the way he laugh is really funny. Had some rumours with him, and he is also very enthu about it? LOL. Innocent is the best word to describe this prefect.

i Admit, i do hate her alot and keep mocking and stressing that she is short...,but recently she has changed, for the better =). Nvr KPKB with me alr and she is kinder in her words. I tried very hard to post daily, but i keep forgetting. Or am i juz lazy? i am both.
Was supposed to be the last day with 2D ytd excluding the bridging program.

i srsly very slack liao. when was the last time i posted? anw, im posting coz im very free.

OK my maths is..........!@#$%^&8 15 marks worth of careless mistakes. but, i still scored quite okay. Very shocked ee ching scored THAT 'high' while wee joon scored THAT 'high'. wee joon scored higher than me for ur info. Not gonna say my marks, but its an A1 =D.

I thought scoring 47.5/60 for lit was quite badly done, but hey, considered not bad in our class alr! HOHOHO, im shocked srsly. but other classes performed better? ppl scoring 55.5? damnation.

haha some funny incident tdy..

nth much in the morning. OMG. I actually woke up early in the morning to do my maths and complete my ace- learning. I can't believe it. i srsly can't. I DID ACELEARNING.

den ate and went to school for CCA. saw a funny gal on my way to sch on the platform at sembawang. she was pushing her baby's pram into the MRT and somehow, one of her DROPPED into the MRT gap.....when boarding the MRT( u noe there is a gap between the platform and the train rite) one of her shoe dunno how fell in. i controlled myself not to laugh and look solomn. Overheard her conversation on the phone with her mum that she was gonna go Orchard. with 1 shoe. in the end she still enter the MRT sia...nvr call the stuff to help her get her shoe. pro. first time witnessing this type of incident though. 14 years first time =) so i thought it was interesting to share with u guys.

grr...coach got come. Pt until siao. i reached late though. worse. pumped. wesley HIOE came back to 'inspect'? Jonathan keep shouting beside my ears saying pimple face come back le. He say he gonna go join CO (OMG) . He say Co for every performance got CIP points + CCA points* (is that rite?) so gd.. CCA point killer CCA...

den got home and started typing here. was finding yian for dota, but he teaching his brother HOW TO CYCLE. haha. he should be back at arnd 9 dats wad he said so im w8ing.

tdy started off fine. woke up at 7. den slept agn and woke up at 11.

ron came to my house to dl 1.24 dota. den ben peng damn fan! keep saying i bully. i 2v1 ron and ben peng. won once. den the other game taiko lose coz they push faster...(they played 3 lane btw hard for me to control sia!!!) ron oso sibei funny....keep telling me ben peng sibei fan.

OMG LUH. i found out i MISSED out so many things on thursday...zzz but u all can't blame me LUH all so late den post how i go see wads happening in school -.-...

Lets start positively first....although i very emo tdy rite frm the start la.

tdy was ok overall....

started off with chinese lesson? we read the textbook....yeah as the video said, mr yip is teaching in a boring yet useful way. so juz bear with it lor.

den it was geog. no CT. class test was actually 17/25(68 marks) but after some begging.....managed to get 17.5/25 ( 70 marks) damn lucky still got A2. raced down after the bell rang....to buy THAT carrot cake. managed to buy 1. shimin got none HAHA! (i cut her queue ps) kena scolded by ms goh....but she oso nvr scold la...tok for 3 mins saying dun do it agn and let us off.....so gd leh she !

den it was boring old maths. did a test. ppl around me said it was difficult. i dun think so leh....if i get lower than natalie she say she will laugh at me! *pray hard muz not lose to her.*

was eating at north point the hong kong wadeva restaurant ytd. i was eating at 8.21pm....actually hor i wanted to be a responsible citizen and take pledge de but when i turned back at my watch after that it was 8.23pm....proves to be not easy to be responsible!Reached home at 11pm. slept at 11.30pm.

Started off school. i nvr wear red tee-shirt actually. Weekiat brought an extra tee for me! so touched ~ jkjk.

2.4km run was TOUGH. Shi nan was shockingly fast tdy...had a hard time catching up X.X....i finished in a timing of 10 mins and 18 sec. Not the best time i have gotten in my whole life but its still okay =) But i cant get the treat ... he said only if i get below 10 mins den i can get THAT treat. How sad. wee kiat failed to get it too..and that puts me in gold's hands..=D

In 2006, Mel Gibson released a movie about the Mayan civilization. "Apocalypto" follows one man's journey from slavery back to his family. During the course of the movie, a young woman prophesizes that a man will bring an end to the Mayans and wipe out their civilization. In the real world, some theorists don't believe a man will be the end of the Mayans -- instead, a celestial event will be the cause. The Mayan calendar even gives us a date for this theoretical event: Dec. 21, 2012.

How did the Mayans develop a calendar that could predict the end of the world? How does the Mayan calendar work? Do the Mayans really believe we have only four years left on Earth, and if so, why is Dec. 21, 2012, doomsday? Read on to find out if the end is near.

The Long Count to the End

The end of the world may resemble another ice age.The Mayans have a complex system of calendars, and each calendar has a different purpose. There are thought to be 20 calendars in use, though only 15 have been revealed to the public. The Mayans keep the other five a secret within their culture. Some of the more commonly known Mayan calendars are:

•The Tzolk'in Calendar - Used primarily in crop rotation, this calendar allows one 260-day period to ready the land and one 260-day period to grow and harvest the corn.
•The Haab Calendar - This calendar lasts 360 days, with a 5-day period called the wayeb. Close to the Gregorian calendar we use today, this calendar follows the cycle of the sun.
•The Calendar Round - The Calendar Round gave the Mayans a way to record history in longer increments. It's a combination of the Tzolk'in and Haab calendars and goes through about 52 years.
Fifty-two years was longer than the Mayans' average life span at the time of the Calendar Round's creation. However, Mayan historians wanted to create a calendar that could be used to record history for centuries. This led to the Long Count calendar. The Long Count incorporates an era called the Great Cycle, which lasts approximately 5,125.36 years [source: Jenkins]. The idea that the world is on its way to an end comes from the Long Count.

Devastation Predictions

Nostradamus Michel de Nostredame, also known as Nostradamus, was a 16th-century physician who also had a penchant for writing. He penned a series of prophecies, focusing primarily on wars, disasters and destruction. Using metaphors and mystery, Nostradamus wrote these prophecies as quatrains, or four-line verses. His followers say he predicted the rise of Hitler, the Apollo moon landing and the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. His critics say his writings are nothing more than ancient horoscopes, written to tell of events that undoubtedly will occur again and again. Sometime during the Spanish Inquisition, the Mayans stopped using the Long Count -- at least as far as the Spanish were concerned. A Mayan historian began recording events on both the Long Count and Gregorian calendars. Scholars then compared the dates on both calendars and confirmed the beginning of the current Great Cycle as August 13, 3114 B.C., making the end of the fourth Great Cycle -- you guessed it -- December 21, 2012. Theorists believe this is the day that the world will end, and all living things on Earth will die.

However, the Mayans themselves don't actually believe that the world is going to end at the end of this cycle. In fact, they believe that it's a time of great celebration and luck when the planet lasts through a full Great Cycle. After all, we've made it safely through three other Great Cycles, and the world is still turning.

What makes this cycle so different, some believe, is that it ends on a winter solstice. On this particular winter solstice, the sun will align with the center of the Milky Way. This particular event happens only every 26,000 years or so [source: USA Today]. But is this celestial occurrence really going to end the world and kill us all? Probably not. Many scholars see this theory as extremists trying to cash in on the fears of others [source: USA Today].

So what will happen on Dec. 21, 2012? It's likely that the day will pass with no major event happening at all. People may not even realize it's the projected doomsday, although that's unlikely considering how much press it's likely to garner. We'll just have to wait and see what happens -- and hopefully update this article on Dec. 22, 2012.

kk started off well ytd....but all the excitement starts after recess.
maths- mrs ng nvr come agn. test very ez EXCEPT FOR THE pie = 3.142 thingy....last min changed everything... lucky got time.

english- test so DIFFICULT!.............i crapping throught the whole thing....and wads more too little time so i no time plan T.T and check.

den after that, we go into temperature taking. LOL ziyue got 38.1 sia! so HOT. But she still look absolutely normal with no signs of tiredness. Obviously, she had to leave school. haha.

Ipw project started soon after that. i Think i spoke too fast? Oh ya had a tiff with ai xin while we were doing the project.....she so zai lor say she not racist den still say i frm thailand....And i lost it coz i was not given the chance to speak. damn.

den got some uncle/ auntie come into our class to disinfect. LOL....scared tio H1N1.

after that, me , ryan , guo dong, jun quan and hong yi went to yian's house to SLACK... gd term =). we played dai di truth or dare whereby the loser choose truth or dare if he loses the game. So lame i lost THREE TIMES.THREE!!!!! The movie was boring...dumbledore died, harry x ginny, hermione jealous of ron and lavender.
half blood prince = saverous?(dunno how to spell) there was 1 part so FUNNY. 70 % of ppl shouted in the theatre. i was the 30% =D. oh yea i think we oso going to watch the '吓到笑' directed by jack neo on 13 august. Should be funny.

Reached home at midnight(after supper). Slept for 6 hours. woke up at 7 to help dad book smthing....(so i was able to go blogs and comment (= )GG ....bb for now.
